MASTERMED P 100 (Drostanolone Propionate)

MASTERMED P 100 (Drostanolone Propionate) is a part of the dihydrotestosterone (DHT) family. It is mainly used as an antineoplastic agent in the treatment of some cancers. MASTERMED P 100 comes as drostanolone propionate 100mg/ml injection which contains 100mg of drostanolone propionate and excipients.

Drostanolone Propionate Mechanism of Action

Drostanolone propionate is a prodrug of drostanolone which has both androgenic and anabolic properties. It exhibits high anabolic properties acting on androgen receptors to cause protein synthesis, nitrogen and potassium retention. It is also known to inhibit prolactin and estrogen receptors which accounts for its antitumour activity. It also does not have known progestogenic activity.

Drostanolone dosage

100mg weekly via intramuscular injection.

Drostanolone Side effects

Drostanolone side effects include acne virilization, headaches, fluid retention and elevated calcium levels.
